Ever since the 1980s, Aas-Jakobsen has been involved with a varying range of structures in the oil and gas industry. However, over the last 15 years, our activity has mainly been designing big concrete offshore structures, i.e. Gravity Base Structures. This has particularly been the case by participating in international projects managed by the oil service company Kværner.
We have contributed with our unique skills and experience in a full range of different activities relating to structural design, from advanced analyses to completed drawings. Through key positions and participation in major and complex projects, our engineers and the company have built up significant skills in the implementation activities of every phase in these types of projects.
With advanced expertise in concrete design and technology, and extensive and detailed experience in a range of projects in Norway and abroad, Aas-Jakobsen employs many engineers who are ideally suited to take on important roles in such projects.
