“Double Track Venjar-Langset” Named Project of the Year 2023 at Byggedagene
AAJ served as an advisor on this project, and we are pleased to have delivered ahead of schedule and over a billion kroner under budget.
The new 13.5-kilometer double track through Eidsvoll is set to reduce travel time, increase train frequency, and improve punctuality on the Oslo-Hamar route. It also features Norway’s longest railway bridge (Minnevika/836 m), which was nominated for the 2023 Betongtavla award. The railway segment is designed to support a train speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
The project has gained considerable attention for its achievements, with partners attributing success to careful planning, the right expertise, and a collaborative working environment.
