Following tight competition with Norwegian and international consultancy teams, Dr.ing A. Aas-Jakobsen AS, Cowi AS, Johs.Holt AS, TDA, Moss Maritime and NGI was awarded the contract to work with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration on the next stage of developing a suspension bridge supported by a floating foundation over the Bjørna Fjord.

The development will combine international bridge expertise with leading Norwegian offshore expertise in floating structures to create a safe and cost-efficient structure suitable for crossing wide and deep fjords.
